The Administrator Certification Program is administered by the Administrator Certification Section (ACS) of the Community Care Licensing Division, is legislatively mandated, and is designed and intended to upgrade the knowledge and educational levels of persons currently employed as administrators and persons wishing to become administrators of RCFEs, ARFs and GHs.
California Statewide Treatment Education Program (CSTEP) provides the most up-to-date information about HIV and HIV treatment, as well as free education trainings for HIV and HIV-related service providers.

DDS and the California Department of Education (CDE) are making key changes to the DSPT project that will take effect September 2015. No DSPT will be conducted in August 2015

Offered by the state of California Department of Development of Development Services the Direct Support Professional (DSP) Training is a competency-based training program that is mandatory for all direct support staff (and administrators who provide direct support) working in licensed community care facilities. The training is based upon core competencies or skills necessary for satisfactory job performance.
The Los Angeles County Regional Occupational Program Direct Support Professional Training and Testing Prorgram offers the two-year, 70-hour standardized statewide competency-based training program which is mandatory training for all community care facilities (CCF) direct support professionals (DSPs) and CCF administrators who provide direct care to ensure core competency skills.
Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) are health facilities licensed by the Licensing and Certification Division of the California Department of Public Health to provide 24-hour-per-day services.
