Training and Development (Lanterman)

The following are training opportunities that focus on developmental disabilities and related topics and are conducted or sponsored by Lanterman Regional Center for service providers in the Lanterman community.

Mandated Reporting
This in-service is designed to inform service providers vendored in the Lanterman community of their responsibilities for mandated report of abuse of our clients and will cover the following:

• What is mandated reporting
• Staff responsibilities to report
• Protect services agencies and their responsibilities

This is the May 2010 presentation.

Positive Behavioral Supports
This in-service is designed to inform service providers the Lanterman community about strategies for preventing and addressing client behavioral issues in residential and day programs. This is the April 2010 in-service.
