Welcome to the Koch¨ Young Family Resource Center Electronic Resource Directory!

This directory is designed to provide you information on resources within the Lanterman community and beyond. The Electronic Resource Directory (ERD for short) is a work in progress, and will constantly grow and change with your support. In order to provide you with the most up to date information, we are implementing the ERD one service category at a time. The first service category we have chosen is Social Recreational Resources, but will continually be adding service categories.

Our resources are only as good as the information we have on them. If you know of a resource that we have not included here, or have new information on one of our resources, please sent us an e-mail at frc@lanterman.org or call us at (213) 383-1300 ext. 716 with the information. Your comments and feedback are vital to this Directory!

HOW TO SEARCH THE ERD

To search the ERD please use the following steps:

1. Select your Category - For a description of all of the Categories in the ERD click here.
2. Select your Specialty - Specialties are smaller divisions of resources in a specific Category. You can select more than one specialty by holding the control key down and selecting with your mouse. For descriptions of each specialty within a category, click here.

The selections you make from this point on are optional. If you make selections in any of the boxes below and your search does not give you any resources, please change any or all of these boxes.

3. Select an Area - If you are in need of a resource close to home, please select the region nearest you. Remember that there may not be a resource specific to your area. If your search does not present you with a resource, please redo your search with Any selected in the region box.
4. Select a Language - If you are looking for a resource that speaks a language other than English, please select it here. If your search does not present you with a resource, please redo your search with Any selected in the language box.
5. Select a Funding Method - For a description of the funding types listed, click here.

NOTE:  Though a resource is noted as "Funded by Regional Center you will need to contact your Service Coordinator regarding funding for any service that is vendored with the Regional Center. For more detailed information on Lanterman’s funding policies, please see our Funding Guidelines by clicking here.

6. Once you have made your selections, click the search button!

Once your search has posted its results, there are a number of ways to view your resources.

1. To view information on a single resource, click on the name of that resource.
2. If you would like to view more than one resource, place checks next to the resources you would like to see. If your search has brought more resources that the number viewed in the first page, select all the resources on the first page that you would like information on and click the Next button. Continue this process until you have seen all of the resources your search found. Once you have selected all the resources you would like more information on, click the Go button.
3. Should you want to view or print multiple resources on single pages, please click on the View Single button.
