California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
How to Make the Computer You Have More Accessible Webinar
Lanterman Regional Center and ATEC present an AT workshop with Kevin Daugherty, ATEC Rehabilitation Engineer, RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP). This presentation is for anyone interested in learning how to make his or her computer more accessible.
Participants will:
- Learn about the importance of accessibility
- See an overview of accessibility features in Windows and Microsoft Office, including screen magnification, onscreen keyboard and speech recognition
- See the benefits for people with vision, mobility and dexterity, hearing and deafness, and language and speech impairments
- Discover resources for selecting the appropriate feature

Parking: Available in the parking structure behind Lanterman on Berendo Avenue. Parking tickets will not be validated. Parking fees are $5 prior to 10 a.m. entry, otherwise they will range from $10 to $13. There is metered parking on the street. Watch street signs. Lanterman is 2 blocks west of the Metro Red Line Wilshire/Vermont Station.
