California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.

Kate and Will Spicer's brother, Tom, has Fragile X Syndrome, the most common form of inherited learning disability. Tom is also a huge fan of Lars Ulrich, the drummer of the heavy metal band Metallica. The siblings make a promise to Tom that they will take him to meet Lars. Tom's dream becomes their promise to him. Together they embark on a "Mission to Lars!"
The event will be held on October 7, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre. Reception and Silent Auction/Opportunity Drawing at 1:30 p.m. (Light refreshments and Champagne will be served.) Film Screening followed by a Panel Discussion with Filmmaker Kate Spicer and Dr. Randi Hagerman at 3 p.m. Price per person is $45.00. Parking is free. Seating is limited.
