Strategies for Parents to Improve Their Child’s Speech and Language
Lanterman's Koch-Young Resource Center and Pasadena Child Development Associates present a a two-hour workshop for parents to learn how to promote their child’s speech skills. Gain ideas you can incorporate in daily life and playtime with your child who is between the ages of birth to 5. Learn how to build off of your child’s interests and your family’s regular routine to motivate and support your child in finding his or her voice.

The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Parking: Available in the parking structure behind Lanterman on Berendo Avenue. Parking tickets will not be validated. Parking fees are $5 prior to 10 a.m. entry, otherwise they will range from $10 to $13. There is metered parking on the street. Watch street signs. Lanterman is 2 blocks west of the Metro Red Line Wilshire/Vermont Station.
