Behavior Management Workshop - English

These multi-session workshops enable parents and caregivers to learn the basic principles and concepts of Behavior Theory and their practical applications to the family’s behavior challenge(s) in a supportive and social environment. Parents are encouraged to put into practice between classes what they learn and share their success or challenge. Parents learn effective techniques to be used in a variety of settings (e.g. restaurants, stores, mall, park, special events, etc.), and how to focus on disruptive and potentially dangerous behaviors (e.g. self injurious behavior, aggression, destructive tantrums, etc.)

Class Enrollment

Only service coordinators may enroll their families in a class. Families may not enroll themselves directly. Service coordinators will advise families directly that they are enrolled in the class. Workshop provider will mail a class reminder flyer to all authorized families 10 days prior with the class location and map to class, and will follow-up with a courtesy phone call a couple days prior to class start date.

Contact your service coordinator if you are interested in registering.

Additional Information

Child Care is not available during the class. Parents are expected to attend all sessions. Make up classes are not allowed and parents with two (2) absences will be dropped from the workshop.
