These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.

Understanding Special Education Services and Supporting Parents to be an Advocate for their Child
At this intermediate level training presented by Child Care Resource Center participants will learn how children qualify for special education, the differences between a 504 Plan and an IEP, procedural safeguards, how to help parents prepare for an IEP meeting, and helpful strategies for parents to use if they disagree with the school district. The presentation is scheduled for January 24, 2013.
The instructor is Cynthia Landes, MPH, MA, ET/P, an Educational Therapist at Kaiser Permanente Watts Counseling and Learning Center who also has a private practice. In addition she has worked for many years training early childhood professionals in the use of high quality developmental screening tools, such as the Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) and Parents’ Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS).
