Accounting Associate II

Position Summary
The accounting associate II is responsible for operations and purchase of service payment processing, preparing bank deposits, and performing a variety of assignments as requested by the Controller.
The accounting associate II performs certain clerical phases of an accounting function including arithmetic calculations, posting, processing and verifying transactions, reconciling, maintaining records, and resolving related discrepancies. He/She is expected to use some judgment in following detailed accounting procedures. The accounting associate normally receives assignments in specific terms and works under regular deadlines. The accounting associate is expected to acquire a working knowledge of current UFS provisions, which affect his/her area of operation.
Education and Experience
High school graduate or GED equivalent and two years of experience in fiscal record keeping. College accounting course and experience with computerized accounting systems desirable. Must be computer literate. Experience with Excel and Word highly desirable. Substantial equivalents may be substituted for the above requirements.

Service Coordinator - LA Hollywood (Two Positions Open)

Position Summary
Under the direction of the regional manager, this position will provide service coordination with and on behalf of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The service coordinator will ensure clients receive services and supports consistent with individual concerns, desires and priorities. The service coordinator will be expected to work in a partnership with clients, families, service providers and members of the community at large.
Education and Experience
B.A. degree in social, behavioral, child development, special education or life science required, accompanied with a minimum of two years of work experience.
A valid California driver’s license and current automobile insurance is a must. Candidate will also have adequate transportation to fulfill position responsibilities as required.
Bilingual Spanish/English required for one of the positions.
Bilingual Korean/English required for the other position.

Nurse Consultant for Community Living Options - Clinical Services
$4,142 - $5,047
Position Summary
Provides consultation, education and technical assistance within an interdisciplinary team process as it relates to the health needs of persons with, or at risk for, developmental disabilities. Assesses clients ’ medical and nursing needs as an aspect of the judicial review process for selected clients in developmental centers.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university nursing program and three years of nursing practice, two of which have been in a supervised clinical area of developmental disabilities, pediatrics or community health, and one year which has been in administration, education or consultation. Substantial equivalents may be substituted for the above requirements.

Master's degree in nursing from an accredited graduate school of nursing with a major in one of the following areas: community health, psychiatric-mental health consultation, pediatric nursing and/or education, and two years of supervised experience, including one year with persons with developmental disabilities.
Valid California RN license, California driver's license, current automobile insurance, and adequate transportation are required.
